I used paint stripper at first and let it sit for a night than I just sanded it when it dried. If you have a grinder with a wire wheel that works really good too. It will make it shine (look at the bars i did... it was too hard to do to the stem)

get a new wheels, it's worth it. Saves a lot of time and makes it look better. What do you want to raw?
