 i used a light table to get the basics and the rest is kinda on my own.

 Please, do not make me laugh...who uses ruler for such a basic sketches? - only kids.
Draw it freehand from life and make it look real - that would be something to show off.

 Don't be a pretentious douche. Unless you are some kind of freak and can freehand perfectly straight lines with surgical precision, there is nothing wrong with using a ruler when you draw. Especially if you are drawing something as angular as a bike frame. It gives it a clean professional look, in fact I bet the engineers who design frames make their blueprints with rulers. Great sketch bro!

 that is a sick drawing man, good job, is that the first one you ever did, you ever think about making 3d, you should look into it, you might be good,

dont listen to ppl like that man, they only say things like that because they would never do that them selfs. that is how you win, you dont listen to that, you just remember that all the diss-es are really just ppl saing, man I wish I did something like that, so lol to them. down load 3d studio max, and learn it, your future will be fun.

 youngFR, I worked 5 years as an animator hand drawing using the light table.
Explain what is so unique about tracing on top of the existing picture as we see here?
I guess for anyone who has not got a clue about hand drawing this is what they call art. Smile

 look at my stuff. i can get some good ideas from tracing and it helps a lot for proportion. but who knows mabey its just me. Smile
