definitly bolt on i use both bolt ons for my dh bike and my pinscher, it makes so much more sense. you're less likely to lose your wheel on lateral(sideways) impacts and it takes only a little longer taking the wheel off using a wrench I had a qr hub on a mob for a while and i hated it, my wheel came out of the dropouts sometimes...it was a vertical dropout model too, the dobermann is horizontal so it would probably be even worse
I run a profile ss hub on my dob and a hope geared hub on my fully, both work amazing so far Are you planning on running it single speed or geared? You can get the hope ss/trials that lets you run it ss or i think 6 speed geared. If you always want to keep it ss than id probably go profile since you can run a 9t sprocket and hope goes down to 12t since its cassette not driver. But if you want the option of geared hope is better. Hope is a little lighter too
ok that was my plan was a bolt on hope 9spd. i wasnt going to run gears, but just in case i ever wanted to i was going to buy the 9spd just so i could.
i would because your mob is sexy, but its not my size and I really need cash anyway let me know when you sell it so we can work something out, if I still have it of course
yeah 31.6mm seatpost and 34.9mm seat clamp...macneil and alienation both make pivotal seatposts that size for like $28..i just bought a macneil for my pinscher, I'll see how I like it, looks good on paper, cheap and light, or you can go for a used thomson and a nice light railed seat, thats another great option hope that helps ya hopefully i still have it for you its an amazing frame from just looking at it, the attention to detail seems so much better than even my pinscher, sucks (for me)im getting rid of it
wanna give me your opinion on something? should i get a bolt on hope hub or a QR for this frame? im guessing bolt on makes more sense. but never hurts to ask
