That fork is overkill. Put something proper on there like a Pike or a lowered 36.

66SL is only 5.5 pounds and feels awesome. Probably still overkill, but the best overkill out there if you can find it.

Yeah, I was just taking the original application that the DSS was designed for into consideration with my suggestion. On a freeride hardtail, the 66SL is king.

Overkill or not, 66sl is light and sturdy + i can alter the travel endlessly. Not to mention other adjustments.
