2.55lbs Eek i thought profiles were supposed to be light. my crank(1664) bb(tenpack) old sprocket(shitty salt 28t) and pedals(ipedals) came up to 2.6lbs. wish i had gotten a shot of that Frown

These don't even have pedals on them in this pic, so add a little less than a lb to that number. I am looking at SLX's for replacements. I will save like an entire lb lol

haha yeah, i like the sounds of loosing a lb but i love my cranks and haha if anything id go for the xts, not as light but much stronger

Yea I got these from a friend and he constantly holds that over my head, so I am definitely getting new ones. I looked at the XT's but they are a little more expensive and I am digging the look of the SLX doubles.

lol well if your smoothish and light you could get away with it, then again you did rock a velvet so you know all about that lol im just saying cuz im not smooth or light so id get the xts if i changed cranks or just saints Razz idk

xt's and slx are bad idea. get some reall cranks and buy some race face atlas Fr super light and amaizing striffness. one bad ass piece of equipment!!

For DJ/street application? What makes the SLX's a bad idea exactly?

i have a ti spindle on my profile cranks. and just the crank arms and ti spindle wight like 900grames. its stupid light. maybe you should just go for that? their strong cranks theirs no reason to downgrade!!!

I think I may just try the SLX's out. Specially because of how cheap they are right now.

i think i will just get a spline drive left crank arm (i wanna run 20t in front and 9 in back) sounds dope and will probs look cool

You will most likely get massive chain slap though.

 i did not consider this...

Yea, when I ran the 22t I had some pretty bad chain slap. With a 20t you may be flat running on the stays.

wait are these normal profile crank arms? and they fit a 22? how low can they go?

22t with some modding of the sprocket bolt. I wouldn't dare try to go any lower.
