man if your looking to drop a ton of weight get some new tires. Ive had those, about 1 pound each

www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=27778 They make this tire in a 26, super lite, good quality. If your looking purely for lite tires, Continental race kings are good all around tires www.cyclesuperstore.ie/shop/pc/catalog/medium/TYC00192.jpg and those run at about 60$ each. Also shwalbe tabletops are sick all around tires. But i think the most common and best tire would be Kenda small block eights. Hope that helps
