nice. Do you know of any good free riding spots? I love jumping but I have a 7 inch travel freeride bike, not a BMX or DJ bike so I like the bigger hits. when does this park open? does it cost anything to go there? It seems like a good place to practice tricks.

Free riding usually occurs on the big mountains... I can say that you can come to the trails here in waterbury and at certain times you can fly down the hill, but usually unsafe. Free Riding isn't all that well received here in vermont. It's too bad- I want to do some free riding as well. Best place to get a free ride trail? Build one. This bike park is open to everyone! No cost, just gas to get there. Its been a lot of progress, good place to learn definitely. After I get the building under way, It will be one of the best parks in the state- I know it! I got a new design, raising money, getting volunteers and community involved, we should see a great place to ride this summer!

nice. do you know how far Waterbury is from east Randolph VT? looks like you get alot of kids on walmart junk bikes that go there from the pics. I love VT, I just wish the people here were more involved in biking but I guess we will have to be the ones to change that right?

We have a lot of kids who have good bikes and we have a lot of kids who have junk bikes. Myself included, I have both...I beat the junk and practice on the good stuff. Randolph is about 40 minutes from here. I used to go down to do Autocross racing at VTC in the summer. We have some really good trails as well. People come from out of state and country to ride in our town. Just need to get the park really rolling! If junk is all you can afford, then junk it is.

yeah, I'll let you know sometime in the summer. and I really want to go to Highland. I've never been, but seeing from the pics it's great and I love the fact there is a foam pit there! my mom said I could go there for my birthday which is in may.

if you like freeride stuff highland is the perfect place especially if you are getting a voltage FR

what and where is Autocross racing? and I wish I was closer in location because I would be willing to help even though I'm only 14

Auto cross racing is when a bunch of car guys get together and race their cars in parking lots. Its sanctioned (professional) and safe and a load of fun! www.sccv.org is the place to look at all the pics and what not. the auto racing is held in the summer at Vermont Technical College in Randolph.

I would love for the help, and at some point, if you would really like to come up, let me know, maybe we can hook you up with a ride. My buddy and I (he's 14 as well) have plans to also go to Highland Mountain bike park! we went last year, wow is it awesome!
