Thanks man! I still think i might favor your white and green set up more! You def need to send some pics to sulley at rotec btw! And as for the wall I did actually paint it for photos shoots but not necessarily for bike photos lol

Very Nice. Also thinking of getting one. Another guy that has one says that the cockpit feels real small. He has a medium and says it feels like a small. If you don't mind me asking what you think and what size is this one and how tall are you. I'm 6'0" so I'm kinda concerned cause I'm at the far end of the sizing chart.

I dont mind at all! Its a medium. I am 5',11" so a medium would be perfect for you! I'm not sure I agree with it feeling like a small. I have ridin the small and i could actually get away with riding it if I had to. I run a little longer stem...not by choice its just what I had around. I actually need to get a smaller stem as I feel Im reaching just a bit. So that could be another option for you if for some odd reason you did feel crammed in there you could get a 73m stem??...just a thought. Let me know if you need anything else man ill be glade to help out anyway I can, that goes for anyone out there with questions!

Thanx a lot man that really helped! Couple more questions, how does it pedal and how about the weight? I don't drive so I ride my bike for everything along with downhill and jumping. Thanx for all the help.

Hey man sorry I missed your last questions, for some reason I didnt get any more notices from this pictures comments. It pedals great! it is a bit on the heavier side but has such a nice solid feel to it that I dont mind that at all. If you threw some clips on and raise the seat up you can pedal your heart out. I actually did a pretty long climb the other day with flats and put my seat up a bit and I could hardly tell is was on a DH bike. Hope im not too late on your decision process but hey its worth a shot.

Hey man no problem. I actually bought the frame late August and I must say that your info was the reason that I did. I still need to get a few more parts so I haven't been able to ride it yet. But I got the Boxxer Team and Bombshell Bear Claw wheels and enough other parts to coast it around and feel the suspension. I have owned an Intense Uzzi, Santa Cruz Bullit and probably ten other name brand bikes in my life and the Vexx is of very comparable quality. The welds are great, the tolerances are exact and everything is aligned perfect. I am happy with the weight so far and all I need is the brakes and cranks so it should be perfect for what I wanted and I agree that it should feel real solid and stable. I really want to thank you for all the help and taking time out to respond to us riders that love bikes. I wish you all the best of luck with your career in riding you lucky bastard and I'll let you know when I've finished the build and gotten to ride it. Just need more $$$ dammit. Mike

Thats alright Smile Thanks for the answers Smile . I got in touch with someone from Sette about the colors and they said that they do not offer other than a black color but they will offer my suggestion.... well i hope they change that even though I have a little bit of doubts about it.

Very cool! I have a meeting there next week. Ill be sure to add that to my suggestion list as well, who knows maybe if there are enough people running it past them they will follow through. Keep a look out!

killer bike bro. how does it ride? i am looking into one my self, also where did you get those sette graphics, the normal ones are kinda lame in my opinion- those looks dope!

Dude it rides amazing!! soaks everything up, corners super nice and im a jumper and this thing leaves the ground as well as it sticks to it! Ive riding through some of the roughest rides and it is by far the quietest bike on the trial and I never have any problems with anything loosening up or any of that. I can literally come home wipe it down and shes ready to go for the next run. You seriously cant go wrong... especially for the price. As far as the graphics go when you order it just give them a call and tell them you want the graphics I have and see they can do for you. Im the team rider they will know what you want. Let me know if you need more info!

Hey sorry to get back to you so late I missed the last few questions on here, I guess it shows my lack of pinkbike experience! They only offer it in flat black for now, im not sure yet for 2011 models. They black does look really nice in person. You can also get the frame powder coated for pretty cheap now a days. I do powder coating in my garage on small parts and its dirt cheap so they cant charge that much. Hope that helps and sorry again for not gettin back to you sooner. Hit me up with any other questions you might have.

what year is this, and can you get different graphix for the vexx and sette?
  • 1 0
Its a 2010. the graphix were some that they had made up for me but im sure if you called them they could get you the same graphix. The frame comes with the older graphix under the clear cote so these are just slapped on over the top. Sorry to get back to you so late btw didnt see these last few questions till now.
