no comment... probably U would be able to build whole bike on Intense Frame for that money...!! ;D come on,GT,whatt's got into U?? rediculous is not even beginning to touch it...
haha ye that is true... but the santa cruz carbon frame when it comes out will cost a bomb as well... so i gues only folk who can splash the cash will get it!
he's right,it costs 18000pln,so,if I remember good...for that price,I would build something on m6 and fox40,or,socom and 40 or the best kona on the world, huh:>
it's pretty interesting, that carbon is coming into DH bikes... I ride Easton MonkeyLite DH bars and I got to admit, that their ability to eliminate vibrations is amazing,but... still I don't think, that building whole frame from carbon fiber is the best idea... Carbon is really stiff, but that means easy to break... If u're sponsored, than go ahead, but for Johnny X this kind of frame might be a one season or even one "ride-frame"-one heavy crash and there's nothing left from the frame... :/ still, downhill has always been expensive sport...
main purpose for GT was to make this bike stiff as hell, that's the main reason why it looks stronger than V-10,which for me personally isn't as good frame as people generally think...
951 is the most breaking frame I ever heard of... Maybe Session 88 can stand for the fight, but propably, still Intense breaks more often. Main problem with 951 is that their so light,so butted, that all it will last is one season maybe two... And the price for Intense is redicolous to.
they snap everywhere, not only at the chainstay...
yeah,I know what FRO short means, but in my opinion this kind of frames should never be sold to everyone, who can afford it.
I don't know about U guys, but I'd be scared to ride that frame...
I'm not the greatest fan of GT but that one looks soooo sick...
