Imaginary 2011 SCOTT Voltage FR.
WHITE Voltage created using a picture of my 2010 green Voltage FR30, Photoshop skills and a bit of imagination :]

Thanks bro. Yes, the layback was needed to gain some distance between saddle-handlebar for comfy riding while seating/seatpost extended. I still use my regular cut-down seatpost and saddle combo for bikepark play.
I noticed it because I have an ingrained fear of bentback posts (since they can't be lowered all the way), but using 2 post/seat combos makes sense. I used to do the same thing on my bike (the interupted seat tube means a climbing length post won't go down all the way down for DH): I had one post for all day rides, and a shorter one for shuttling and messing around. But when I climbed up to the top of a steep DH trail, I didn't want to go down on a long post!:P I was able to solve this problem by getting an adjustable post (KS i900), the post is long enough for climbing and when you turn down the adjustment, which lowers it by 5 inches, it fits all the way down into the frame. Plus it has a 30mm setback (just the clamp, the post is straight) so it increases the saddle-bar distance. I also run the saddle with the post clamp toward the nose for maximum setback, as I have long arms. Its adds weight, but works very well for me.
There are rumours that one of the Voltage FR models comes in white for 2011, so I have created an image in Photoshop trying to show a new colour. PS. Both above, hope you are not dyslectic? - it is all explained in picture description.
