haha you FAIL! because scoutism is RETARDED ONLY IN USA! everywhere else it's great, 2 years ago i went to an international camp in Germany and it was like sex almost every night...
used to be a scout - nothing wrong with it - learned lots of good stuff ..... quit when I was 12 - now a 17 year old scout is pretty uncommon, at least where I come from.
well, i'm 19 and i'm not ashamed of being a scout, and i shoot guns there too =P once i took some of them to a ww2 firearms show, they enjoyed a lot the MG42
wtf??? was edititng and it changed picture... :S btw, as i said before, scouts look quite gay only in the USA (no offence, it is the thruth), but they'll never be as gay as the guy in the pic... i also considered scouts "a bit gay" before joining at 7yo...
The things I gained from scouts was a LOT of camping/outdoors experience, hiking, knowing what to pack/wear. Lets just say that, I'm surprised when I go camping with other people and haven't a clue what to do and brought the wrong stuff or they didn't need this bla bla bla. Some experiences from others are different, I was fortunate, we did lots of stuff outdoors. LOL, I actually use quite a few knots that I've learned from scouting.
I don't like camping, I'd rather get a hotel in a sick big city like NYC, and eat Subway, Dunkin Donuts and stuff like that The only knot I can do is my shoestring
Well of course if I have the option and the extra $ I'll do that. But when you get a bunch of biker buddies to stay in those areas that are 'sorta' like camping then it's a blast. Hotel rooms can be boring (because the group splits into their rooms) unless there's a pool or something to chill at. But Dunkin Donuts take priority.
