First, let all the air out, or you will have a steerer tube in your face!
1. Pull off the plastic rebound/protection knobs 2. Pull out the rebound adjuster with the red- ish knob with your hands 3. Undo these Bolts. After this tap the bottom of the fork lightly with a rubber mallet and it will come loose. Pull the uppers from the lowers.
4. Undo this snapring. 5. Pull the flight control assembly out the uppers, (not possible to remove it) and place spacers in the area between the red lines. If you want it 80mm, put in 60mm of spacers. (140mm full travel-60 makes 80) Genuine magura spacers will be the most pro. Plastic tubing or stuff like that will work too.
Put your fork back together. place the stuff with the cirkel around it back as it was. And all the other stuff too, offcourse.
After this, you will not be able to adjust your travel via the flight control anymore. When removing all te spacers, the flight control will work again. Chances are you might lose warranty. I am not responsible if you screw this up. (which is almost impossible)
ou can get spacers from Magura but honestly it would be pointless, because even a piece off sawn off handlebar would work. The best would be a plastic tube around handlebar size. After removing the uppers from the lowers, take the uppers and undo that snapring on the bottom. This is the flight control side. You don't have to do anything from the top, thats why its neccesary to pull the lowers off. After undoing the snapring you can pull the rod out which has the plastic stuff and some foamy rings on. Remove that stuff and reinstall with your spacer in between. Between the long plastic pieces or between the foamy rings would work. Just ask if you need to know more.
cheers ... haha all done, but even after triple checking that there was no air in the chamber it shot like 5 meters past my friends ear...... hahaha good times
