i think 1500 is a bit overpriced when they retail now at 1249 even with the brakes upgrade, you know you wanted a straight swap for my bighit i got a swap for a bass and 700 :/

Yeah what he said! There's 2 of these on and they're £1000 and 900.
BTW if you sell the frame on its own you could transfer all the parts to a DH frame and save yourself some money.

yeah i bought the bass for thats was up for 900 its absolutely immaculate condition, well as i said i swapped for the bass and 700 and he got my bighit.

Oh and I emailed the Kona Tech guys about putting Rock Shox Pike on the Bass and they said that the frame is a 100mm travel max and that if i put much bigger on then the rider is putting strain on the rear shock and it mucks up all the geo. He said the frame tubing isnt strong enough either. This one has 150mm! Its silly to have 4" on the back and then nearly 6" on the front usually you have more on the back!

Thanks for all the info guys, at the time of posting I was going to collect the 150mm fork but it turned out to be a crap fork and I didnt buy it. I ended up buying a Marzochhi Shiver SC 2003 120mm fork that is very plush so its not effecting the frame angle now. I also moved house and am now living in Germany. I was after 1500 but was up for offers, anyway, sorry for the delay, have been uber busy moving hous and have just got my internet up and running. Smile

sorry if I messed anyone around. Frown
