think you would have bigger issue than tool damage if you left it only hand tight

 Well you know what i mean. Obviously not THAT kind of loose hand tight.

 well yer, hand tight isnt tight enough, over the period of a ride if it were only hand tight it woul work loose, once its loose damage the threads in the frame, bb should always be tightened with the correct tool
