wow..the light one Smile as far as I know most of Chromag's frames are about 3 kg, yes? . Definitely an inspiration for building modern hardcore hardtail !

depends on the model, 1.8-3kg. such a nice bike to ride anything.

Thanks Smile Do you always ride with flat pedals ? Did you ever consider clipless, for better control in rough terrain ?

I used to ride flats, switched to clips. more stable on rough trails yet sketchy for some stunts.

You know if these frames are going into production?

I wouldn't mind something setup a little more aggressive than my Trl.

when am i gonna be able to get that frame, i want a back up for my sinister ridge.
  • 1 0
it's just a prototype. the model is called Gypsy and it's not in production anymore but they still make one as requested Wink

sweet i may have to pick one up sooner or later. whats the head angle on yours?
  • 1 0
should be 66 or 67 but i'm not sure. you can just send everything with this set up.

thats the hope i have a very similar riding style to you, ive hit a 20 footer on my ridge. theres nothing more fun then a long travel hard tail with 30 inch bars, but it seems there getting harder to find.

i bet it's less harsh than aluminium frames.

hey jin, i was wondering, what is Chromag's Am/ Heavy duty frame?
is this still avaliable?
how much would it run?
  • 1 0
I would say Stylus, identical to my frame, Gypsy, and is really versatile. you can always check www.chromagbikes.com
