Does the anodising effect the re assembly of the brake? like do you have to remove the anodising from inside the lever or where the pistons sit?

Looking sweet, did you get them custom anodized?

I did unbuilt them myself, send them to a anodization company and rebuilt them after. I already asked Hope if it is possible to get special orders but they only do it for team bikes and bike companies. so my only option was DIY.

how much did it cost you to get them anodized and are they hard to strip down?

striping down those brakes is easy, only thing you need is a special torx tool with a little hole in it's center do be able to unscrew the main piston retention plate on the lever ( the silver "Y" plate). Otherwise, really easy thanks to a very good conception and finish quality.
Anodisation cost around 100 euros.
cheers
