i don't think brown tape and saddle would look good on a bright yellow bike. the seat on it is awesome. What do you mean by straps? it has spd pedals

It would make it look more retro, but SPDs have more power transfer I suppose, and it's your bike, so have it set up how you want it.

I think that would make it look better.
Also maybe get straps, that'll increase power transfer when pedalling...
It's a nice bike though.
