what do you think to the XT brakes?? Im tempted to replace the elixirs withe either them, XTR's or saints!

I've only got an xt on the front, deore on the rear 
although that will change when I can afford it 
Yeah I love this brake, its perfect! tbh I think xtrs not worth the extra money as its just marginally lighter and has less adjustment in the lever, unless your going for the new xtr?? Saints probably too much power for a hardtail as xts have plenty of power. havent had to bleed it once too

Ive heard XTR's are lighter than XT's but less powerful. Saints are heavier but alot more powerful. Probably go for XT's as there cheapest and then maybe buy a bit for the DJ bike! Yer I was on about old (2010) XTR's.

Yeah I actually have an xtr caliper on this xt lever 
The only difference in calipers is the weight, xt levers are more powerfull and have freestroke adjustment and xtr is just a bit lighter, I think a few pros run xt leveres on xtr calipers I'm not even getting saints for my dh bike as I dont think I need the power so I;m getting slx instead. I'm interested to see what the new xtrs are like though! Hows the djbike coming along??

DJ bikes finished....just need to build it. Its hideous....ended up buying a half link chain in a rush - it came in white....its foul! The back wheels on the rufus at the moment as I broke my pro 2 freehub doing sprints. Got the parts from CRC this morning so I can fix the 4x bike and put the stuff back on the DJ.

I ahve spare pawls and springs so im only on the original freehub...but this season ive broke alot!
