Nope just left it. Occasionally give it a repolish but it stays pretty shiny.

Does it not get stained from water or anything else? Corrode?

Aluminum doesn't corrode like steel, it forms a really thin oxidized layer that stops it corroding. The oxidized layer dulls the shininess after a while but u can just polish it back up
