I'm not entirely sure, probably about 1/250 in the woods, maybe 1/500, although it was a very sunny day and you don't get many of those in Yorkshire

I leave my whitebalance on shady as I don't know how to set a custom one 
Exposure is usually fine for me, I just make sure I'm not making the camera work for its exposure adding noise, so if in doubt I go for a slower shutter, although if I can I try to keep it high.
