suffered from some scratches where the coil connected with the frame. also the reservoir made a nice ding on the underside of the top tube, plus the broken shock was sharp and ruined the shifter cable, but I think it is still rideable. I was still riding it when it was busted, funny thing is it was still pretty plush but the back end was sitting low as the coil was stuck on the down tube. the entire event was really messed up I should have stopped riding earlier as the bike was riding weird and really loud, but the trail was too good to stop. In any event everyone says this is a freak accident. I tried to remove the shock but could not loosen the bolts. even more odd that the bolts would not come out. it says to only use 150 pounds to tighten the bolts, and i was using that at least. Someone suggested it may be reverse threaded, any one have an answer to that?
