Yeah I know whta you mean, skateboarding is "extreme". I mean I would't do things just like Chris Haslam but still skating is kinda boring. I think the major difference between those sports is the speed and body fitness you need in DH.

skating is boring to you coz you don't do it, DH looks hella boring to some ppl that don't know it. To them it just looks like a few guys riding down a hill, but to others it's life & the best thing in the world! It takes loads of fitness to skate properly all day & have you seen how fast some guys skate? Not the same as DH & that is my point, comparing skating to DH is like comparing socks to gloves... they both work great & do different jobs, if you try put a glove on your foot, obviously it's gonna look stupid.

Rodney Mullen is on some other shit! He doesn't skateboard, he plays hacky sack with a skateboard haha too good!
I never get why ppl try put other sports down to make theirs seem better, just shows ignorance. Every extreme sport is pushing the human body to the limits & you have posers that make them all look bad. Hell, I even saw a scooter vid the other day that left my jaw on the floor.

cant agree with that. someone who makes those pictures doesnt know anything about skateboarding. i am on a skateboard since 10 years now, but i am riding downhill since 3 years too. dudes, respect other sports 
. i got more often an adrenaline boost in biking than in skating, but skating has some other nice feelings too. there are idiots in every sports, in skateboarding but even in our sport - riding a bike.
