Yeah man, Balfa had it figured out way back when, sadly the pacific bicycle company which owns Norco and rocky mountain, gobbled them up and closed the doors due to competition.....sad really.....they were such a nicely hand built and made in Canada machine. But it is good to see the designs still in use with slight tweaks !!
yer i on what u mean . oh i must be rong then it just there is a forum on here an they are goin on about B.M.W phone lines bein down and on replys to e/mails and the B.M.W forums waz not working and i think sum one said that they were runing out for cash caz some one who helping them with cost has past a way or some thing like that why they were in shit..
I have faithfully followed them since the start, Jerome has been off of the radar for a while now....I was amped on the Real....but then it kind of faded ....quickly....... I was the first dealer in the USA for Balfa ... and I helped them sort out the original BB7 chainguide issues...ie..blackspire was the one !! Hope they / he come back around......I have riden the Xpresso rigs also...quite sweet.... but I want the drive high pivot technology like the BB7 and the Real. !! Cheers !!
They are a great ride....just look at all of the modern rip offs.....giant..iron horse and many others ..... That design works so well.
I speak to Joe....the owner of brooklyn frequently and can assure you....they are not shutting down !!!
