Says the year on the bottom of the left fork leg. I'm 99% sure that they are 2007- I just sold a pair that are the exact same as that, without actually being yours. In 2008 they were no longer made in Italy- had shitty quality control, 38mm stanchions, beefy yet shitty lowers, and damping that was no good.

 Are you serious? By the way- the 08s did have 38mm stanchins and marzocchi forks were made in italy til 2007- and had the 35mm stanchions. Just check the marzocchi website. I know these things because the 2004-2007 forks are leaps and bounds ahead of the 2008-2010 forks.

 Touche is a saying that means something along the lines of "very well put, makes sense" or otherwise. 2004-2007 have better damping than the 2008-2010 forks. That is comparing high end to high end however. The high end 2008-2010 forks are maybe slightly better than the lower end 2004-2007 marzocchi models with the ssv/ssvf platforms of damping. The HSCV which the r/rc models have is what I ride, and for the price you can't beat it. I've never ridden the RC2/RC2X cartridges so I can't speak on those. There have been wicked reviews stating that Marzocchi has updated their damping to be more competetive with forks like the boxxer and 40, so that would be something to give a go aswell, but a heck of a lot more money. Sorry for writing a story on your picture.
