 i prefer to shop round and get 2nd hand parts, none of my bikes have cost over 2k certainly not 6k. if youv got the money tho why not. good luck in finding your dream bike

 Coz ur putting too much money on a not so good frame ( well,Its good, but not for a £6000 bike.)

 It's not that it's a bad frame, it's just not good for £6000 build.

 yea i like the two transitions but i can only find the tr450 in polished and i would prefer white or do you think the colours in this build would look fine on a polished frame

 Function over form is where it's at mate, I wouldn't care if my road bike frame was multi-coloured or had clowns painted on it, it's how it performs!!

 Personally no, but I have ridden a tr450. And I also said demo because of the warranty. You seem to pull me up on everything I put...

TR450 is 200 more than the herb
demo is the same price mind

anyhow, my point is, can i ask why you think it isn't good enough for a £6k build?

 The tr450 £100 less than the herb plus it come with the shock I want so I want have to spend £450 on a new shock so the tr450 works out at alot less than the herb

 from a google, the tr450 is 2100 and you say the herb is 1999?

 Ye I went with the last because I really like the frame design and also I wanted the tr450 before but I thought I was alot more expensive but now I know I can get it for the same price then that's the one I would build

 plus 40's need servicing more often which = less time i can ride the bike and for the ammount it will cost to build i wanna ride it as much as i can
