what did you use for mountain gear for the shock?
  • 1 0
It's the original rear swing arm modified to allow a longer rear shock and reduce the head tube angle to achieve improved geometry for the fork.

but how did you bolt in the longer shock? there is no mounting gear for the one it comes with

Not sure I know what you mean. The shock bolts into the existing mounting holes and just the arm geometry has been altered to be better for skis - slacker head tube angle.

do you just us the bolts to attach the shock? looking at the eye holes on the shock mine has i can see they have some kind of bearing in them that widens them to fit into the frame, pretty sure this makes them wider then normal shocks

Ok, now I understand. Yes, you always use shock bushings when you mount shocks. They come in all sorts of sizes. your local bike shop can help you measure and figure out what bushings you need.
