Really good looking frame, did you get it from the US, or through the UK distrubutor?

How does it feel compared to the Alloy one?
  • 1 0
It's one of the first batch of the UK frames sourced through my local bike shop. It's another league to the alloy one, new shock ratio is really sweet, the travel feels slightly more linier, gives it an even more bottomless feeling with out any numbness. The handling is also improved to my old V10.3, guess this is be a compination of weight distribution and head angle in my case, but I find alot better in both fast and slow corners.

is it a medium? and what upper cup did you fit?
  • 1 0
Fitted the .5 cup as I dont run that much sag. The .5 feels perfect and the 1 degree cup was a little to slack for me. I prefer to run a 50-100lb to heavy spring for my wieght and my v10.3 always felt like it could of done with being a little slacker. It is a medium frame.

Oh, is it nude carbon with clearcoat, or is the frame painted black?

I believe it would be described as a gell coat black, as you would get in a coloured fibre glass product, they put the Santacruz decals on and then a lacquer on top of that. Looks like painted black though. The painted ones are heavier Wink
