 bottom one

Erm... Considering that's also got the negative "bottom out" spring I would say that yes, you could run it but it's gonna be hella' soft and bottom out easily

Mah baaad, missed your edit. Should be okay, just still might be a tad soft

the topout spring shattered, the bit that has the topout spring on just goes inside the coil because the plastic bit also shattered Frown

 Wait, what?
You said the bottom one is broken, but the top one has the top out spring etc?

the bottom one has a small amount of what's left of the topout spring, the top one is the one I will be running in the fork, basically, the top one is normal apart from a 30mm spacer and the bottom one should look the same as the top one, except without the black bar inside it

Just try it and see what happens. Can't see it doing any damage and if so, they arn't exactly top of the line, pricey forks

yeah, and they should be a bit harder because they've been lowered by 30mm right?

Yeah, as it compresses the spring, meaning the first 30mm (that you would have got before you lowered it) will no longer be there and the 70mm of stiffer travel will be left

 thanks
