Get the hub I have. Crazy cheap. And I don't know if the STP would like that small of gearing. When I ran 27:12 I got a lot of chain slap even with decent tension.

No I mean like the chainstays are really thick. When I ran a 12t in the rear the chain was almost right on the chainstay.
