how the hell is that nearly 4lb lighter than my tonic?? tyres and no brake is all that looks lighter... what cranks?

Quite a fair bit is lighter. Cranks are macneil conjoineds with Ti spindle and Ti hardware.

Just because you have seen a couple snapped doesn't mean they're shit. These are the first gen cranks and are still going strong. Everything is meant to fail, nothing lasts forever.

i have snapped 2 sets off them and im not even a good rider, all i was do it on the first set was a hop down a 3st second was a 260 to fakie.....

dont come in 26" versions but pre sure you might be able to get a 26" wheel on the frame and 1 1/8 head tube
