Thanks dude, that's cool I'll probably need a 100mm stem after all if this stem is too short and twitchy on the T2 so if it ends up being to hard to handle or if not and I get my drops I'll buy yours.

 well from riding i found short stem with drops was twitchy and just sketchy, but with wider bars i was fine

 yesssss be fine i would actually go for a 70 or 80mm stem for a roadbike, remember if you hold the hoods you stretch out even more

 I didn't realise it would be so stumpy, 60mm is 6cm so I thought that would be the length of the stem arm from clamp to clamp, not the whole stem itself and I want to be in an upright position genuinely as it's going to be a commuter to start with.

 Yeah I wanted an upright seating position so I went for a 60mm

 So roadie must have shorter stem?

 Only if you have a flat bar and you want to sit upright, otherwise for drop bars 100mm+.
