best live band in the world? that's a matter of opinion. i've seen them 3 times and the first time ("lick it up" tour) they rocked.the second time (unsure which tour) they sucked and the third time was when they put the make-up back on and i was embarrassed for them. it was sooo cheesy. as far as marketing goes, the word sellout comes to mind. that's just my opinion.

It's good to have an opinion bro, glad you give your view. They have made their millions mind through clever advertising, you must admit, forcing the issue with Kiss everything lol! Live bands is where it's at!!!
Motley Crue were a blast in 2006, as well as Killswitch Engage, Lamb of God, Wasp and Deftones over the last few years. Backstage with Queensryche chatting music with Jeff Tate and the band was awesome for me also on the Operation Mindcrime Tour....
I love my reggae most of all and the rock gigs keeps me ticking over in-between shows.
