That's no reason not to like Marzocchi - there are a variety of reasons why this set of forks broke, and it's not because they were cheaply made.

It was a combination of riding the shore for over three years on a dj hardtail w/ 888's set at their max axle-crown height, 3/4 max rebound & compression, and, me over-torquing the crown bolts. Also they were topping out quite severely a couple rides before this, and I didn't get around to getting them checked out.
