I cut it off with a hacksaw, then I used a dremel to take some edges away, then I gave it to one of my customers, and he took it and had one of these.

So he sanded the edges off till it was major clean, then I sprayed them. When the paint wears out, I need to powdercoat them.

Sounds like allot of work, but I think I'll try the dremel and paint, mine are a bit messy.

Good stuff, I'm ordering one of those Blackspire rings too, put the BMX cranks on hold for a while as the wheel was more urgent. They do look thick enough not to snap like the ones I've tried so far
