see if you can't get someone to fashion you a curved brace (or a shorter brace) and weld that sucker on. This brace gets all its strength from the fact that it is a tube. Once you cut it like this, the brace loses almost all of its strength, now it basically has the strength of a piece of sheet metal.
Thanks man, I'm looking into getting a curved brace welded by a local frame company (Solid) and they said they could do it for a couple bucks or a six pack, so either way I'm sorted
yeah man trew, deity frames have a measily bridge so i cant see it really doing that much. We'll always find out if it starts to crumple, but even then its STREET STEEEEEEZ
