Yeah I actually had an e46 right when they first came out. I had mine setup with an ESS VT1-455 Supercharger and KW coilovers. The thing was amazing. Then I got obsessed with the Vert M6 and got rid of the e46 for one. Big mistake, the M3's handle so much better its not even funny. And the e92 is the most amazing car ever, I love my V8 M3!

 It has what BMW calls "comfort access" There is a key fob but you leave it in your pocket at all times. To unlock the car you just touch the door handle, once inside you just press the start button and your off!
