The little village or Iruya sits the "wrong" side of a 4000m pass, meaning a rental car or local bus ride to reach it. Basing ourselves there for a few of days meant being able to explore the trails that spread out from the village hub, all set deep within dramatic scenery. Photo by Dan Milner
