track is on private land, i lease the land from the landowner for a set fee each year, on the proviso that i have liability insurance that indemnifies the landowner from our trail building. essentially we have a blank cheque to build what we like. I can guarantee you that you will not find anything in scotland or possibly even britain that has what we have in terms of stunts. our insurance (from Zurich municipal) isnt too expensive and we run the club on a members only basis(membership fees cover the insurance costs) which would go alot smoother if if all the bloody riders actually chipped in and paid their damned fees (21st may!!! hint hint to others that ride here)
regarding north shore on FC land i heard that 3ft high was the maximum they would allow, however times are a changing and this might not be the case any more....but Glentress still has its shore and cant see it closing anytime soon as they have only just opened it all last autumn
