 hey man what you think giving the specialized an up grade changing my rear mech an shifters to xt an changing my btakes to xt to as i got magura martas on it at the momemt an a ritchey wcs carbon stem an seat post an i got a bit of wear on my stantion on the forks so sending off to mojo probbz ave new stantions sound gd

 Go for SLX, there's only about 80 grammes difference in weight between them and XT, but look at the price difference ???

My mate just got some Hope X-2's and they feel perfect....

 hey man ave u eva tried those xc mrp chain devices for single chainring on xc bikes lyk what you got on that but no roller on the bottom thinkin of it for my stumjumper

 I havn't tried one but don't really see the point in an xc chainguide? MY Yeti's are triple chainrings up front, 9 rear.
I'd only use a double chainring with this guide set-up for all-mountain, i'd keep the stumpy running triples as that's what it's designed for.....

 ye i nw jus wanted an opinion i waz thinking weight wise see an as i only use the middle chainring dont use the smallest or the outer or use a chain device

 most of my groupset is xt only brakes shifters an rear mech it will be full xt then an with the carbon stem an post stem weight is bout 110 grams an post is bout 120
