thx man. I actually like the generation of outbacks before mine like yours, haha. There is no longer Pabsy on the roof of my car, I had to sell her to put money towards my speeding ticket/insurance increase... Instead my DNA will have to replace it, but thats fine with me since I love 3 my DNA soo much, however I am not a fan of these speeding tickets...
that doesnt make any sense, and if your talking about legacy gt's and sti's you bought the wrong car, outbacks are awsome in the bush, but then agian, with those wheels and tires its probally never seen the bush.
If it was up to me when looking at cars, this wouldn't have been what I drove out of the lot with the cash I had to spend... but what I felt would be a fun first car didn't fit the guidelines of my parents, so I just gave up arguing with them to find a car I was willing to buy with my money and that they approved of.. so I was given this.. but a car is a car, thus why I took it and drive it.. an it has seen some bush/mudd with those wheels on, an as a result seen some new tires too from getting a flat (learn from our mistakes).. I would like to slam it (hate if you want) an make it as far from an OB as possible an be honest unique from other OB's... However with the winter/stockers setup it sees as much as bush, mud, snow, puddles, an w/e else mother nature wants to give it.. ps. you asked "how do you like your legacy" I answered with "fun-ish." But I also made the note of it that its not a Legacy GT (hint hint something I rather have), since its not just a "legacy" either... its the outback version
oh ok, i understand... sorry. i thought that your comment before was kinda dishing that they suck. i see what your going for with lowering and all but the outback sits higher then the averge legacy. and i assumed with "pretty" wheels and what look like snow tires that it was getting bush. i ddint mean to come off offenseve
EDIT: why wouldnt your parents let you get what you wanted i.e. and sti or whatever
a list of "parent" reasons, you know how concerned they are about the safety of their child.. in addition insurance cost of the cars I wanted vs what they recommended, due my choices being "sporty"
yea.. idk I guess.. I mean I'm on my second speeding ticket this summer, so yea considering I the fact I can get speeding tickets in this thing... I can only imagine the trouble I would get in with a lgt or wrx.. I also wanted a jeep to raise up a bit an go off-roading with but gas prices weren't looking in my favor when I was thinking of getting one, an my commute to/from school would be a hurtin on the wallet...but tbh mpg on this ain't that much better... But back to the reason of why I got this I guess was my mother came up with the idea an outback would be the perfect cross between the two types of cars I was looking at, though I'm sure in her mind it was off-road enough to make through the muddy parking lot, but still a "legacy" so I'll feel like I have a lgt.. I'd wished they'd given me the outback generation before this one, and in manual...
oh I know... I pushed for a wrx so badly, so I gave up an opted for a impreza...they were like oh yeah sure, but the man from the dealership was like "oh yea you'll have shitloads of fun in this, flyin down the highway, an play in those snow cover parking lots..." my parents were like "oh, yea you don't say... is there something, more family/road trip friendly..." he later apologized to me, he said he didn't think my parents would take it so seriously lol
yea its the same motor, the legacy is just like 800lbs heavier... but after the guy at the dealer f-ed up my impreza chance me told my parents that its super heavy an really safe bla bla bla, haha
