 say la V

sure, l have busted a couple rear D's in my day too.

busted a XTR, no kidding first 30 seconds after installing it on my bike.

once l busted my rear D off and when l did, it took about half the hanger with it -- a simple downhilly line just trying to roll off the trail, l took another spill. rear wheel went one way, bike another.. me... l went assoverteakettle down the hill.

busted off an X-9 & hanger when my rear d got caught up with some Max-E-Can fishing line out at Goose.

If you didnt hit something or over shift, You might want to make sure that the chain is long enough to compensate for rear wheel movement when in higher gear and using up traver as is the case when jumping... I had the same thing happen, snapped right off when landing. I have various spare parts for you that Tim never got when he bought it. Ask Uncle Pshop for some new hangers.
