Lucky! My '87 runner has the cancer known as rust! You send me your back end and fenders. My doors are fine. Oh and a relay for the back window! Thanks!

HAHAHA Thanks man, yeah, my hood is starting to peel a bit, but I'm f*cking AMAZED at how well this one has lasted (as you well knw, most don't. Do you guys use salt on the roads in NDK???). My rear window is screwed up too (aren't they all) BUT, I found a really cool way to make it work, just run a fused lead (10-20a fuse will be fine) off the battery, UNPLUG the motor cord inside the tail-gate (it's just a polarity switch that changes the direction of the motor) and run two FEMALE spade terminals to the male plug prongs on the motor (it'll be on the left side of the TG if you're looking at it standing behind the truck with the TG down). I found a "DOUBLE POLE/DOUBLE THROW" switch at Radio-shack and mounted it to the left of my drivers seat on the pillar next to the seat-belt tensioner and VWHALA!!! I now have a functioning window and it works weather the truck is on or not. If you don't already know the page, look up "4Crawler" on Google as he's got a page dedicated to EVERYTHING 1st gen. I'm still working how to get my wiper back working, and the switch on the center console isn't functional anymore, but you COULD make it work if you just did the wiring work...

I love these trucks, they just don't make anything like them anymore... sad that everything's gotten bigger and les capable off-road. With the E-locker in the back and the LSD in the front diff (with the new 4.88 gears) this thing is a TANK in the dirt and it climbs like no Wrangler ever can. I'm waiting on importing an HZJ-75 Troupy eventually and I've got a 1kz-Te (3.0L I4 Turbo-Diesel) to go in this, but I think this may become a trail truck eventually. The Diesel will just make it that much more capable

First of all, Don't ever confuse a South Dakotan with a North Dakotan or we'll go postal on your ass! People in ND are tards. Bwahahaha. As for the window motor you lost me at doing my own work. I suck at most car repair. Basic shit yes but tech stuff I quit. Yeah the salt just gutted the beast. I got some serious speed holes going on atm.

HAHAHA Sorry mate, my bad, that's like Calling an Oregonian a Washingtonian... Do I LOOK like I'm driving 45mph in the left lane?!?!?!?! WTF!!!!! Wink Road salt sucks... If for no other reason then it kills nice old Toyotas Smile I know how you feel, when it comes to electrical stuff I start pulling my hair out, but I MADE myself figure this out because I got sick of not being able to get into my bad area.

The whole trucks a "Bad area" Wink hahahaha yeah in my case, it's a lap-top with the most frustrating key board ever... in a single paragrah I'll end with like twenty words that a are missing letters... SO annoying.

Yeah we got a new one at the shop am trying to get used to. Yours looks like thirty times better than mine. New tires is next on the list. Ouch.

My AT's are finnaly wearing out, and I think I'm moving to some 255/85/16 Maxxis Bighorns... I'm a big fan of "tall and skinny" tires cause I don't do a lot of snow or sand wheeling and the mud here you;re better off getting to the bottom of to grip up. Plus I need somthing that does well on slick roads. Tires cost a FORTUNE though aye..
