Hi mate, how did you manage that? must have been a major impact

I came off my bike at Cwmcarn last week, broke 4 lumbar bones and maybe some ribs, hurt like a mother.
A&E gave me some pain killers and to just rest up a bit. I was very lucky to walk away from that one.

hey, ah mate that sounds nasty! How'd you come off?

My one wasn't a direct result of a crash, I had a genetic default, and the riding I had been doing, chasing my dog down a mountain, and a small crash, resulted in this.. So yer.
