LOL true that, i like making my homes underground so usually my entrance is a massive hole that looks like a beta glitch lol you jump into a pool at the bottom, problem solved

you're gonna have to make a containment cell, and either use MC edit to delete the water while you build then replace it after.... or a whole lotta pails of water

same, but i have single player commands, hit t, type "fly" and no death for me... OH WAIT i has invincible armour via InvEdit

yeah i didnt really think when i started that mineshaft. but its a fairly efficient design, no torches and no hostile mobs
