if you need parts, get an LMC magazine. Besides a frame and cab, you could basicly build an entire truck. They were soo useful for the parts on my 85 s10. And if your running bags, your probably gonna want pancake bumpstops, which are like 10 bucks a piece through StylinCustoms.com But overall, Sweet c10 man, someday Ill have something this cool.
Thanks for the heads up bro. I have already placed a few orders with LMC. They are f*cking great, and you're right, they have pretty much everything. I have a pancake for the rear in the c-notch, but up front it uses the control arm bumper bushings. Good looking out though bro, much appreciated. For the record, Brothers is pretty sweet for parts too.
I had the long bed, but hiding behind the front fenders and pine needles the front mount area was beyond fucked. It was fixable, but not on a poor 17 years olds budget, im not one of those kids that makes mommy and daddy pay for stuff. Anyway, my bads b2200 blew a motor, so I told him bolt my fenders back on and drive it lol. Cut 6 months later I bought a 85 4x4 shortbox, but its proving more work than I can do to make it something reliable. it appeared mint body and frame wise, but its more fake than paris hiltons chest. its been wrecked, painted, blown motors, etc. plus the rear shackle mounts are rotted out. I was gonna swap in a 350, 700r4 and borgwarner awd tcase, but its not worth it on this frame. so its basicly A beater for the summer. Im gonna try to track down something like a shortbox c10, k10, f body, g body, v8 maverick. But yes, in short, I have 2 s10s.
Thanks dude, I am lucky to have it and it's my dream truck. She is originally from North Carolina actually, which is why she is in such good shape. She was brought up here in 2008 and purchased by the second owner, who installed the air ride. I am it's third and final owner.
Do you still have your S-10???
