Dude you have got no idea how good an DW-Linked bike rides. But, I think this looks nicer plus it is more flexible with regards to set up with sleeves and dropouts etc and it has carbon seatstays mwahaha. What brakes you going for?

mm brakes.i ride slx's but since im light i dont need much stopping power. but the shimano slx's are good. i prefer them to my old elxir r's

Hmm yeah can't have too much power! Just need modulation to go with that though. I personally cannot stand Shimano brakes, they're levers are pretty wack and don't really have the modulation of say Avids or Formulas, and they tend to have weird flexy levers but each to their own. If you can afford them get some Formula The One brakes, hands down the best brake by far and be prepared to dig very deep into your pockets Smile

Is this a new bicycle I spy?

Aye it is indeed Big Grin Need to sort out a few things and drop the bars, DM stem , bolt the matching front wheel on and shorten the brake hoses Big Grin
Really want an older demo though as a 'fun' bike - hows your holding up?

Sweet, I do like the look of this. My demo Is awesome done my first race on it last weekend, definatley going to do more now I know what they're like. Was at a practise day thingy yesterday too, just a bit of fun that though. Got a couple of upgrades lined up for it (money permitting) such as, 203mm rotors, new cassette which will be 9speed, a new stem, a slightly shorter one, a different seat as I 'borrowed' the one that's on now and the other one is ripped, and hopefully next year a better set of forks or something, like boxxers.

I see, xmas wish list then!!! How much did you pay for the frame may I ask? Sounds good and at least you can sell the parts you want to replace to help fund the upgrades - the 40s on my bike ^^ are 4 years old but ride really well with a ti spring and K9 industries fork bearing, so look around for older but cheaper models Big Grin
