That is going to be a pain in the ass to knock down straight, any ideas on how your going to make the tool to do it Wink

Personally i would have put something like expanding foam down there instead (just saying)

the seals are 31.9 and my seat tube is 31.6, already tested it and im using a full length seat tube to push it down, just sealed it all together with silicone and im going to test that its water tight before i put it in all the way. only putting it about 5mm below my cutout so i can clean out any dirt easier. also going to use silicone and "weld" the sides of the o ring to the sides of the seat tube... i got this

fair play, seems like a bit of an annoying design to be honest, like those cutout head tubes, one dudes steerer rusted through without him realizing until he stacked and the bars just came off Good idea for a fix though, to be honest if i hadn't already sealed my seat tube from the bb side i would probably run one to stop water getting in the bb

thats the idea of this, to stop water and dirt entering my bb and so i can cut my post right down from full size
