oh youre that guy. i got a new stem that allowed me to run the top crown lower without moving the lower crown so i did do that. i didnt have a problem moving the top crown but i had a 28mm stem so i could go any lower without hitting the stanchions and steertube with my bar and stem. i just didnt want to alter the axle to crown of the fork by moving the lower crown because that would alter the geometry of the bike. and i didnt want to cut the forks steertube because it makes it hard to sell. hopefully you understand what im talking about this time.
