 You can't use normal brass or silver filler rods, but you can use a material called silicon bronze. It works nicely if you don't need high strength, and if the application does not require sweating. It can be used for putting cable stops and the like on, and you might be able to get away with some bridge work, though I wouldn't use it as my first choice. If using silicon bronze, unlike most gas brazing work, you don't want to use flux.

 A question I bet you would know... Can brazing(bronze filler) be done with a TIG as the heat sorce, or does it have to be open flame...?

Might be a stupid "?" to some, but I'm just curious... Smile
