Yet more questions for you dude... sorry ha

can you please measure your chainline for me? ive just set my cranks up on the frame with the chain device, but to get it to run smooth at the front I've had to use 3 x 1mm spacers behind the chain device! grrr im pulling my hair out here lmao

cheers dude!!!!!

A word of advice, don't go with their settings on chainline. The main reason i asked what yours was is purely to see how much more spacers would be needed. E13 advised only 1mm or so of spacers whereas i needed to use 2.5 so its all about trial and error with it. If the chainring lines up nicely with the bottom runner/pulley then just go with that - it can take a second to find the ideal setup or hours depending on how fidgety it is. Just add a spacer, slide the crank in and see if it lines up. If its too far either way just add or remove tiny spacers until its spot on

Yep its the wee black ones that come with the guide, they line up perfectly using the 2 spacers on the bb. The chainline may be different on my SLX cranks to your XTR cranks so it may still not line up spot on. The SLX chainline is 46.8mm but if your cranks were originally triples then it may be a 50mm chainline on yours so you might need more spacers...

I was lucky to get mine fitting so nicely without much hastle, its all about trial and error but use the wee gold washers you got with the guide or even got to a B&Q and get some M6 washers to play about with setting up

To be honest I've had worse with my comencal, it's like they designed the frame to not run a chain device at all!! Haha cheers for the advise dude! I hope the new years good to you!!!
